Portage Park Tumbler

Before the neighborhood had a name, it had a purpose — a crossing point where Native Americans carried their canoes between rivers, connecting two worlds. Ted Sitting Crow Garner's "Portage" sculpture, unveiled at Six Corners in 2013, honors that history — and it's woven into this design: a figure mid-carry against golden skies and deep tree shadows.
